Overview

The Troubleshooting Page is under development. When released, it will include advice for identifying and resolving known issues and quirks of UT Tracker, including known particularities of the interface–not bugs–that require special attention.

EID Lookup (“Bad Request”) Error 

At times, when utilizing the EID Lookup on UT Tracker submission forms, you may get a “Bad Request” error. This error is caused by cache issues.

To resolve the error, clear your cache. If you are using Google Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Open your browser's History.

  2. Select Clear Browsing Data (or a similar option).

  3. Choose the longest time period available.

If the error persists, contact trecs-requests for further assistance. 

“Forbidden” Error 

Users typically get this error typically when they do not have access to the system or a page. Users who do not have a division or unit code within UT Tracker receive this error when trying to access the site. If you believe you should have access, or if you have accessed Tracker previously, contact trecs-requests to make sure your user account is active. 

Internal Server Error

This error typically occurs when a large query or large billing submission causes loading to time out. Please try again with a narrower search or smaller upload. If the error persists, contact trecs-requests.

System Unavailable Error 

There are several possible causes for this error; a common cause is a cache issue.
