This guide will walk you through the process of installing ideaMaker. The ideaMaker application allows you to import your STL model(s) into a .idea file. The .idea files are what you upload for the the Raise3D print submission process.

Installation
- Download the installer
- https://www.raise3d.com/ideamaker/
- Launch the ideaMaker installer
- Select "Yes" if it asks for administrator privileges
- Click "Ok" when it prompts for the preferred language
- This will default to English
- Click "Next" for the setup
- Click "I Agree" for the terms and conditions
- Keep the "Destination Folder" set to the default location
- Leave "File Association" checked
- Click "Install"
- "Installation Complete"
- Click "Next"
- Check the box for "Run ideaMaker" Version 4.x
- Click "Finish"
- ideaMaker will launch
Configuration
Add Printer
- Choose a Theme - Dark / Light
- Click "OK"
- Configuration Wizard
- Select Default Printer
- Printer Type
- RAISE3D Pro3
- Click "Next"
- Select Filament
- Extruder Count
- Leave the Extruder Count set to "2"
- Leave "Use Heated Bed" checked
- Click "Next"
- Leave the Left and Right extruders set to [Raise3D] PLA 1.75mm
- Click "Finish"
Select Scale
- Close pop-ups
- Choose "File" and then "Add Standard Primitives"
- Choose "Torus" and leave the default Parameters
- Click "OK"
- Click on the model (brackets around the model indicate it's selected)
- Click on "Scale" on the Tools Bar
- Pop-up defaults to mm > Check "Inches" box
- You may now delete the Torus primitive model
