In this SOP we discuss the follow-up version of the bilingualism questionnaire that currently lives in our Redcap Projects
The Cuestionario de Bilingüismo, seguimiento version is a bit shorter in order to acquire only data that
1) was not previously collected, like the exact age of second language acquisition (previously when a participant selected 20+, display logic did not show the field to enter the actual age)
2) could potentially change over time, such as the amount of current use
The Seguimiento version pipes or “copies” data from the Primera Visita instrument and requires that clinicians manually copy and paste the value into the corresponding cell in order for the new weighted totals to calculate. See the specific steps below in Spanish with screenshots!
