Basic definitions for Doctoral vs. Master's, per ADR Dr. Alex Loukas:
Graduate students who have a master’s degree should receive the “doctoral” rate of pay. Graduate students who do not have a master’s degree should receive the “masters” rate of pay. We recognize that there may be some exceptions here. If a student has conducted substantial research (an honors thesis or master’s report), you may place them into the category of receiving “doctoral” pay even if they do not have a master’s degreestudent pay will be based on the program they are enrolled in (Masters or Doctoral).
