Microsoft Teams is a collaborative platform that allows text chat, video chat and meetings, and collaborative file editing and sharing. It can be used via web (https://teams.microsoft.com), as a desktop application, or as a mobile app (the Teams web page contains download links for these apps). All current employees and students at UT have access to Teams using their UT Office 365 logon.

After the service is enabled, you will see the dial pad in the Calls section in Teams and can start making calls

Setup Voicemail and Record a Greeting

1. In the Teams app, click your Profile Picture, click Settings, and click Calls.

2. In the Voicemail section, click Configure voicemail.

3. To record a new voicemail greeting, click Record a greeting and follow the prompts to record your message.

• Select either Video call  or Audio call . Any call can be a video call or an audio-only call. It's always up to you. 

  

• Answering a call is simple, too. Just select Video call or Audio call when prompted. When someone calls you, you'll get a notification that lets you accept or decline the call.

• To dial a number from Teams, go to Calls , and then enter the number of the person you want to reach by using the dial pad located on the left. Then click Call .  You can also type the name of a person or group and call them from the dial pad.
