who fall under the covered categories (Athletics, Nursing, FIT, Allied Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, Early Childhood Development and related Healthcare Courses of Study)
are required to purchase student liability insurance, even if their internship is with a University of Texas entity.
Students who are doing an internship outside of the above categories do not have to pay the liability insurance.
The cost of the insurance is $14, and the insurance is in effect for a single fiscal year. Payment can be made in BEL 718.
