These General Promotion and Tenure Guidelines describe the promotion process, preparation of materials, and management of dossiers for the promotion of tenured and tenure-track faculty members at UT Austin, excluding faculty members at whose primary academic appointment is in the Dell Medical School (except as noted in Sections B.1 and D.4).
