internal or external recognition, such as awards, fellowships, and grants, is considered part of the candidate’s contributions to each area of review.
Recommendations for promotion and tenure are based on the candidate’s demonstrated record of career accomplishments, with emphasis focused on accomplishments during the normative time in rank and the trajectory of those contributions, as an indication of future performance.
