UT International students are required by UT to attend an Immigration Briefing and Check-In (IBC) - see the IBC site for more information and dates. At IBC, you will learn about immigration, work eligibility in the U.S., how to obtain U.S. forms of identification (i.e. driver's license and social security number), and health insurance requirements.
Advising & Registration
Course Advising and Course Registration for Fall takes place during the week of New Student Orientation. You will attend advising meet with your program adviser during Orientation so that you can register (registration cannot occur without an approved advising form)'s Area Chair or Director during EDP Orientation to determine what classes to take in the Fall. During this advising session, you will submit your EDP Advising Form, which is required in order for you to enroll in classes during UT course registration. The Calendar on this page lists the program-specific advising days/times.
