If you intend to complete your doctoral degree this Summer Fall 2020 semester, you must apply to graduate through the Graduate School online application during the application period:
June 15, 2020 - July 31, 2020 before November 13th, 2020.
You must be registered for C E x99W – DISSERTATION (3, 6, or 9 hours).

The Summer application period will begin June 15 and closes July 31. Graduating student MUST submit their graduation application online no later than July 31November 13th. Students who do not submit a Doctoral Degree Candidate Form by this date will not be eligible to receive their degree in Fall/December.
IMPORTANT!: Request for Final Oral must be submitted to the Graduate School at least 2 weeks in advance of the defense. Request for Final Oral (typed form): https://gradschool.utexas.edu/academics/theses-and-dissertations/doctoral-candidacy/oral-examinations.
All required forms and paperwork MUST be submitted to the Graduate School by August 14December 4, 2020 BEFORE 3 p.m. for Summer Fall 2020 graduation.
