The Sanger Learning Center and the School of Undergraduate Studies have partnered with the UT Libraries to provide free public speaking support for all UT students.

Program Coordinator: Rachel Jenkins

Outreach and Workshops during the long semesters include Learning Center professional and student staff-led free, non-credit short courses, workshops, and presentations covering a wide variety of topics.  Any currently enrolled UT student may register. UT student organizations, FIGS, faculty, or staff may register for or request a study skills workshop. Outreach presentations take place in a venue chosen by the requestor. Workshops occur in JES 309 or the Perry Castaneda Library (PCL) Learning Commons. Services are provided by a team of 8-10 Outreach Assistants who learn scripted workshops and deliver them at dates/times scheduled by Sanger staff or by request. Requests peak in early Fall at ~20 requests per day.
