The SoA's Build Lab operates under policies derived from several different jurisdictional authorities including UT System's Rules and Regulations, UT Austin's Handbook of Operating Policies, the School of Architecture and UT Austin's Environmental Health and Safety department's guidelines for both laboratories and machine shops. The former speaks to management of the facility and equipment, the latter to safety.
