If you're new to git, you can work with your files directly in the browser.  Click on the pencil icon to edit an existing file.  Click "Add File" to upload files or folders.  To learn more, take a look at this quick Intro to Github.

-  Replace the placeholder files in the /public directory of your new repository.

-  All content in the /public directory will be automatically pushed to your new website: https://pages.ischool.utexas.edu/<your site name>

-  When you push changes to the /public directory, those changes will automatically be synced to the website.

- Files larger than 200mb will require you to use git-lfs

  • If you create a ‘test’ branch in your repository, all content in the /public directory of your test branch will be automatically published to https://pages-test.ischool.utexas.edu/<your-site-name>.

  • The test site can only be viewed on UT networks.
