These instructions assume you are switching from Mail to Outlook
Step-by-step guide
Open Outlook for iOS
If you don't have the app yet, download it from the Apple Store.
Note title Note: Requires iOS devices using iOS 9.0 or higher.
First time using Outlook for iOS? Just tap Get Started.
Info title If you have used Outlook on your iPhone before... Tap "Add Email Account"
Go to Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account.
Enter your full email address, then tap Add Account.
You should be redirected to enter your UT EID and password
Enter your information and tap Sign In.Note The above sign in screen will not properly fit your iPhone, so you will likely need to scroll a little.
Tap Yes or Allow to give Outlook permission to sync calendar, contacts, etc.
You're ready to use Outlook for iOS!

The Outlook app will not sync Contacts. It was always suggested that contacts not be synced when setting up Mail on iOS because of the problems it can create. However if you were or must sync your Outlook contacts to your iPhone you can do the following:
You will be warned about the Contacts stored on your phone. Your only choices will be to delete them or keep them. If you keep them, you won't lose those contacts, but they will not synchronize with Outlook. |
