Internal Four Bar

The first figure demonstrates the motion of link 4. The y value is the length of link 4 that is above the torso of the bear and visible from the front of the model. The up and down motion of the link can be observed by following the curve.



Mouth

The second figure demonstrates the motion of the bear's mouth. The high points on the graph show when the mouth is open and the low points show when it is closed. The width of the mouth was obtained simply by finding the distance between the tips of link 4 and link 6.



Arms

The third figure demonstrates the motion of the arms. The y value is the distance between the bear's hands. The high points represent when the bear has separated its arms to reveal its face and the low points represent when the bear brings its arms in to hide.
