The other sections of the recliner are components connecting the current angle of the leg rest to the seat back and the base piece for the rocking 4 bar mechanism. This set up is not purely an angle driven 4 bar mechanism. Multiple points of ground contact, two slots, and a multiple link shared joint across **#** links. Unfortunately, an attempt at an 8 variable, 8 equation (4 sets of real and imaginary) could not provide an explicit solution, so there is a possibility that a relationship was missed for the control of the seat back or rocker base. To counter this, the min and max values of the main slotted piece B3 were measured, providing a set of values for the closed and extended positions at the extremes of the L6 angle range. In this case, the sets of loops could be solved due to the shared link with known values at 2 locations. This did limit the initial target of providing an animation for the full chair, the two static plots are able to depict the beginning and end at least.
