The electrical component of my mechanism was quite simple. My mechanism had an MG995 servo motor controlling the arm and an M90 micro-servo motor controlling the claw. They were powered by a single 9 volt battery and controlled using an Arduino Uno and a breadboard. The figure below shows a diagram of the electronic component.
