Assembly and integration included ample amounts of drilling, using Dremels, soldering, and reworking parts for proper fit. Drills were used to bore screw holes into wood and to rework off-the-shelf couplers used for the motor and lead screw. Dremels were used to shorten the lead screw to fit within the assembly. Solders were used to connect power electronics and to embed fasteners within the PLA slider and threaded brass fitting.
