What would change for final final product:
all corrosion resistant material, possibly make all parts anodized
decrease weight by changing material or machining out unnecessary parts of the linkages
make the glove fit for ambidextrous so it can more comfortably be changed from one hand to the other
include a string/loop connection to the slider so that a string with a loop at the end can be attached if the user wishes to activate the mechanism by pulling the slider instead of pushing it
