Our project focused on assisting quadriplegics with difficulty moving to shift their weight in their wheelchairs in order to avoid serious medical effects brought on by long periods of being stationary. We focused on creating a mechanism to solve this problem in a way that showed interesting motion, resulting in our prototype Wheel Chair Weight Shifting Mechanism shown below.
