The web assignment type in your grading scheme is typically used to create homework or practice assignments. It can also be used to create quizzes or exams; the method to add questions for these types is the same as the "Homework" option. These assignments can be printed, but the responses are submitted through our system for grading. Click here to view an example of this type of assignment.
Web based assignments will be indicated with a computer icon on your assignments page.

Additional OptionsShow One Question at a Time (Slide view): creates a homework assignment with the look of a learning module. Students retain the option to view the assignment as a pdf. Randomize question order: determines whether the questions will appear in the order you set, or be randomized for each student. Optional Class Instructions: is any additional instructions you want to appear at the beginning of the assignment. |

Once the assignment is ready for students to start working on, you must publish it to the class. This prevents further editing of the assignment, so make sure you mean it. This process is explained in depth here.
