1.  Prior to replacing the document content, scan the updated copy of the record (scan record procedure).  Locate the new file on the appropriate scanner network drive and arrange the scanner window and the Meridian vault window so that both are visible.  Locate the document in the vault that will be updated and ensure that it is in Quick Change status.

2.  Drag the new file from the scanner drive and place it on top of the document to be updated.  Select Replace Document Content.

3.  To confirm the replacement, double-click on the Thumbnail image in the Properties panel to preview the document in the viewer.

4.  After the document content has been replaced and the Quick Change has been released, you can compare the previous version of the document with the current version.
  To do this, select the document, right-click and choose Show Revisions.

5.  The document's revision history is displayed in a new window.  You can compare two revisions side-by-side:  select the revisions to compare (the screenshot on the right displays revision 0 and 1 selected for comparison) and click the Compare button (see red box in screenshot).

6.  A new window will display the two revisions next to each other for review and comparison. Image Removed
