Occasionally, the message-waiting light on your phone may become out of sync with the database in the telephone switch. The light
may stay on even though you have no unplayed messages in your mailbox. The simplest way to remedy this is to restart your phone:
- Leave the phone hung up, and press Menu.
- Press 3 for Settings.
- Press 1 for Basic.
- Press 8 for Restart Phone.
- Press the Yes button on the Confirmation screen.
