About the BARN

  • The BARN is a shared network storage drive for files that are too large to be put in the repository.
  • You can organize your files by person or by project in the BARN.
  • All files in the BARN (and all other files on Phoenix) are continuously backed up to a remote server.
  • The BARN is located on Phoenix at /home/barn

Using Secure FTP (SFTP)

Using the barn credentials and an SFTP client, connect to

phoenix.utfireresearch.com

and the BARN shared folder will be shown.

Using SAMBA (Windows file share)

The BARN is available via a SAMBA share called barn.
