The Stat Apps Server gives UT Austin students, faculty, and staff access to a Windows remote desktop with statistical and mathematical software. Permission does not need to be granted to access the server; anyone with an active EID can connect.
Prerequisites
- You must have Duo Two Factor Authentication set up with DUO push authentication
- Computer and internet connection
- You must download the rdp file containing the remote connection settings from this link: https://utexas.box.com/s/mg777jtjygir7b4ai4wvogd9bd79xtdh
- If you’re using a Mac, you must have the Microsoft Remote Desktop application installed
