Outlook tip of the day: Distribution groups can be used in Outlook to give multiple people various share permissions (including View & Edit) for an individuals' Calendar. Use case: A manager, Jane Doe, wants 10 subordinates to be able to view and edit Jane's calendar. Instead of Jane adding 10 people to the sharing permissions in Outlook, we make a distribution group and Jane adds it to Outlook Calendar sharing permissions.
Create a Distribution Group and populate it with users: Office365Management
For example: LAITS DE Team | DL-LAITS-DE@austin.utexas.edu | This Distribution Group contains members of the DE Team. I can add the group to my calendar sharing via OWA and have sharing options of: View Free & Busy Time, Titles & Locations, All Details, and Edit privileges.
