This handbook was written in an effort to provide guidance and support to the cohort coordinators of the EC-6 ESL certification programs as they work with preservice teachers, cooperating teachers, school administrators, University faculty, and University facilitatorsfield supervisors.

We hope that the structure of the handbook will provide a good reference point from which coordinators can pull to construct their cohort experiences.

In the first sections, the general coordinator guidelines are given for each of the three EC-6 ESL semesters.  Each semester is further separated into beginning, during, and end of semester guidelines.  Within each of theses these sections, there are five participant groups identified with their respective roles and activities.
