Ex: Use the Same Policy to install AVID Media Composer but Use an updated Installer Package

Go to JAMF. FULL VERSION NOT JUST COMM	Image Modified
Click on the settings icon

Click on Computer Management	Image Modified
Click on Packages	Image Modified
Click on the package you want to update	Image Modified
Click on Edit	Image Modified
Click

on Choose File

Image Removed

on Remove to remove an old installer	Image Added
Then click on Browse for a file or drop the .dmg into the installer dialog	Image Added
Navigate to the location of the new package NOTE SEEMS LIKE .DMGS ESPECIALLY FOR DAVINCI RESOLVE DON'T WORK USE THE .PKG	Image Modified
Change the display name to the updated name	Image Modified
Make sure the Category stays the same >Software	Image Modified
Click on Save and the upload will start Image Modified

Note that sometimes more often than not the Package Name will change Taking the COMM name off your package so watch for that and make sure Double check the name	Image Added
Go back to COMM site	Image Added
Then you need to run the installer so find the Policy to run the installer Ex: Run Policy to install Resolve (COMM - DaVinci Resolve) click on the Policy	Image Added
You will see that the new package just updated to. the new version	Image Added
You will need to "flush" the computers to get it to install the updates Click on Logs	Image Added
You can either Flush All to reinstall on all computers or Flush certain computers to get certain ones to update	Image Added
Then the computers will go into a pending state to install the update.	Image Added
