Ways to ingest simple assets into the DAMS
One asset at a time, adding descriptive metadata via online form _Single object ingest: Manually ingest simple asset
- Many objects assets and/or metadata files at a time, via a variety of : Batch ingest typessimple assets
- Many objects assets with additional, non-standard datastreams, via _Tiered ingest
When ingesting metadata only, and planning to add objects later, placeholder object files are to be used. Download the appropriate placeholder to use with Single object ingest. When employing Batch ingest or Tiered ingest, placeholder files are automatically included in processing.
