For staff who are new to a unit, but not to the University, it is recommended that managers also perform reviews after 45, 90, and 135 days, using either format of the "New in Position" form linked in the "HR Forms" section below. The purpose is to reiterate unit goals, position expectations, and to assess performance. It is the manager's responsibility to notify an employee when their performance is below acceptable standards.
