Navigate to the iZotope product downloads page and download the "Install Izotope Product Portal" | https://www.izotope.com/en/products/downloads.html Install "Install Izotope Product Portal" Use all the default install settings |  | |
| Open the iZotope Product Portal |

| You will be prompted to create an Izotope account or log in if you already have one Put in an email address to either |

Put in your email address NOTE Izotope will make you an account if you don't have one If you have an Izotope account then use the email and login password for your account |
| If you need to create an account click on Create Account account we’ll sign you in, if not we’ll create one for you |

| Put in your email address then click >Continue |
| ||
| Once your account is created log into the Izotope Product Portal |

| Then you get here |
| ||
Next click the upper left barcode icon and add the serial # you were given by your TA or Professor |
| ||
| Add your serial number here and hit Submit |
| ||
| Choose to authorize to the Computer as shown here |
| ||
| Choose Activate |
| ||
| Then choose "My Products" |
| ||
| Then choose Install |
|
| |
| The percentage of the install will show as it downloads and installs. |
| ||
| After the download finishes the installer will start |
| ||
| Open Izotope RX 8 Audio Editor |  password |
|
| Choose the download for your type of computer Mac or PC |
| ||
| Open the installer and run it |
| ||
double click on the install IZotope Post Production Suite 5 use all the default install settings to install |
| ||
| It'll take a while to install |
| ||
| Installation has finished |
| ||
| Now open ProTools |
| ||
| Make a new protools session |
| ||
| Create a new track in your protools session |
| ||
| Go to the Mix window and add a RX8 plugin to the track |
| ||
The Authorization window will pop up |
| ||
Put in your serial number Name and Click Authorize Then you will be asked to verify and submit |
| ||
You should get a Successful Authorization Click Finish that is it!! Remember this will only be good for your log in on the computer If you log in as someone else it won't work you will have to re-activate. |
