Instead of immediately printing to the WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001 printers, you have the option to Hold or This page outlines the steps to set your printing Preset to Locked Print for the Faculty Ricoh IM 5310. If you do not have access to the Faculty Ricoh printer, you will need to submit an ITS Ticket to have the printer added.

Prior to printing to the Faculty Ricoh IM 5310, you will need to set the Preset to Lock your print jobs. When you Hold Lock a print job, it will not hold all print jobs until you retrieve it from the copier. When you Lock a print job, it does the same thing, except you can choose a numeric code to input to retrieve the job.

Like in the printer instructions, you can save these settings as a Preset.

To Lock a Print Job:

1.

Select either WIN Staff Ricoh MP C2550 or WIN Faculty Ricoh MP 4001.

2. From the pull down menu, select Job Log.

3. From Job Type, select Hold Print.

4. Under User ID, type in something you will remember when you retrieve the job. Make sure your numerical User Code is also included. If you are printing multiple documents, you may want to include something in File Name to remember which document is which.

5. Click Print.

 

6. From the Ricoh copier, click the Printer button on the left.

7. On the screen, select Print Jobs.

8. Select your print job and hit Print.

To Lock a Print Job:

1. From Job Log, Select Locked Print.

2. Input a User ID name and numerical Password.

  Open a Microsoft Document.

While on the print screen, select the Faculty Ricoh IM 5310 machine as your printer.

  1. Input User ID (your name), numerical Password, and User Code (password/user code are the same)
  2. From Job Type, select Locked Print
  3. Click Enable User Code and input the numeric code you use to access the copier.

 4. Enter the same User Code in the Password field.

 5. From the Job Log menu, select Printer Features

 6. From Color Mode drop menu, select Black and White (this must be set or the job will have an error and NEVER print)

2. From Presets, select "Save Current Presets as...", and give it a name like Faculty Ricoh.

3. Click Print.


4. Select your document from the Print Jobs screen.

5. The Ricoh will prompt you to enter a password. Enter the password you specified in Step 2.
