Troubleshooting Steps
If the end user is experiencing issues:
- Ask if they are on or off campus.
- OFF campus: connect to VPN. The user should now be able to follow the notifications to continue the JAMF installation/LANRev uninstallation.
- ON campus: the user should only need to APPROVE on-screen prompts. Any abnormalities with the install need to go to Desktop Engineering for troubleshooting. Escalate to Benjamin Catchings or Francisco Perez via Slack if urgent.
Self Service Application is not installed
- Run in Terminal as Admin: 'sudo jamf recon' and 'sudo jamf policy'. Restart.
- If that does not push the application then escalate to #Desktop_Engineering
- Look at logs in JAMF for whatever policy that doesn’t run & try to determine why it failed / flush logs.
