Introduction
Inspiration
Objective Our project was an array of tiles that was able to create a 3D surface relying only on one input. We were inspired by videos of MIT's "inFORM" dynamic shape display and Automata's water drop experiment. We developed a method of creating interesting motion by designing individual cams that would control follower tiles to cycle through predetermined images by rotating an input shaft.
