The Department of Theatre and Dance has two student staff teams. Winship Main Office Assistants assist the staff with administrative tasks and fielding requests during business hours, Monday through Friday. Building Monitors are student workers who occupy the Winship front desk (WIN 1.142) assistants who serve as a point of contact in the Winship building after hours and on weekends. All student staff positions are filled at the beginning of each semester.

Building Monitor Duties
- Serves as the "eyes and ears" of Winship to alert authorities and/or facilities of any abnormalities.
- Grants access to Winship and Laboratory Theatre Spaces after normal business hours.
- Verifies reserved rooms.
- Engages in building walkthrough of all Theatre and Dance facilities, including the Lab Theatre.
- Returns all furniture removed from spaces and reports those parties who do not return furniture.
- Checks, locks and tidies up all rooms used during shift.Checks room key sign out sheet for any missing keys. Returns all keys that are still checked out.
- Ushers remaining students from the building at 11:00 PM. Building closing time. The building will become alarmed and only those with proximity access may enter the building after that time.
- Locks front doors, loading dock, classrooms, and The Lab Theatre all doors at the building's closing time.Monday, Wednesday, and Friday night shifts must sweep all three dance studios (WIN 1.172, WIN 2.116, WIN 2.120) with a dust mop and collect any trash.
