Overview
CrashPlan PRO The UTBackup Server includes a hierarchy of roles, ranging from user to sysadmin admin, each giving the user access to a different set of capabilities and features.
The PRO Server UI UTBackup management console displays only those features that the user is authorized to use. For example, someone assigned the CPP_USER role can see only the My Profile and My Computers pages and change his own password; while someone assigned the ADMIN roles can view/edit the Organizations, Servers, Users, Licensing, and Support pages, in addition to the My Profile and My Computers pages.

ADMIN_RESTORE | Combined with the ADMIN or MANAGER role, allows you to restore files for another user from the admin console. | |
SYSADMIN | Administer the server including ALL orgs, storage and licensing. Can restore files for another user from the admin console. Not available if CrashPlan is hosting your PRO Server. PROe User | Login to the UTBackup web console client. (default for standard user, required for all accounts) |
Desktop User | Log into the UTbackup client desktop, select and restore personal files from the UTBackup client or web console. (default for standard user, required for all accounts) | |
Org Admin | Fully manage users, devices, backup archives, organization structures and settings within a UTBackup org structure. (required only for Department Admins) |
