The candidate must check the materials in the promotion dossier before the BC/EC considers their case and complete thePromotion Candidate File Check formthat is kept on file in  kept by their college/, school/, or department.

If the candidate believes that the dossier is incomplete or includes incorrect material, or if the candidate has any other objection to the content or process, the department chair or dean shall either correct the problem or include a statement in the file about the problem and why it was not addressed as the candidate requested.

The candidate may also place a statement in the Additional Statements folder (Section G.1211) about the concern or other aspects of the case.
