You have done this workflow in this wiki but footage doesn't link in AVID

Davinci Resolve Export .aaf to AVID - Color Correction Round Trip opening Color Corrected Files into AVID Workflow

This way will fix the issue but assigning a common tape name to the footage in AVID so it will re-link

You have put the .mxf exports from Resolve into the appropriate AVID MediaFiles folder

You have imported the .aaf but footage doesn't relink

go

The fix is to assign the footage and the imported clips in the timeline the same tape name

Here is how

Go to >Tools>Media Tool

Image Modified
Choose your project and the drive the .mxf footage is on
Image Modified

Footage appears in the Media Tool

You can sort by creation date so you can see the recently exported footage easier

Image Modified

Make a new bin and copy the recently created Master Clip files from the media tool into a

new bin

Now we need to modify the Master clips that were created when the .aaf was imported

When you imported the .aaf AVID by default makes a bunch of master clips in the bin that

you imported

the .aaf into

Here is an example bin

Notice the tape name matches the source file name by default

Image Modified

Select all the clips but not the sequence that the .aaf made

Go to >Clip>Modify>Modify Clip

Image Modified

Choose Set Timecode pulldown and choose

>Set Source

Image Modified

Select the SAME tape name you created in this wiki earlier to modify the clips

Click OK
