The Dell Medical School Library provides electronic access to books, journals, and databases, and the physical library space on the third floor of HLB has study tables and carrels, group study rooms, a library workroom room with available desktop computers and , the librarian’s office, and a small print book collection.

- In some many library databases, in order to access the full text PDF of articles, you will need to use the FindIt@UT button FindIt@UTbutton.

- Interlibrary Services (ILS) - httpUT Get a Scan service – request a scan of a book chapter or article from the UT Libraries print collections or from other libraries if UT does not have the item needed. https://www.lib.utexas.edu/services/ils/
- To request a loan of a book, or scan of a book chapter or journal article, not owned by UT Libraries.
- To request a scan of a journal article or a book chapter that is available only in print in the UT Libraries collections.
- Typical turnaround time is 1 - 3 business days for a scan, and 5+ days for a print book.
- This is a free service. Due to COVID-19, currently print books are not available through interlibrary loan.find-borrow-request/get-a-scan
