Students must supply their own materials. If the knife breaks while cutting the user must compensate for the broken blade.
Acceptable Materials
The knife can process thin materials such as:is responsible for purchasing a new blade.

Prohibited Materials
- Any rigid materialsMDF - Any thicker than 1" and all non-Formaldahyde-Free
- Basswood or other wood products
- Both the top and bottom surfaces or your stock material must be a flat plane
- Wood
- MDF
- Metals
- Magnetic Sheets (this will dull the blade quickly)
- Anything containing Portland cement
- Cement board
- Rockite
- Plaster
- etc.
