Background: Collaborative Care + Integrated Practice Units

Dell Medical School has committed to deploying an evidence-based model of fully-integrated mental health care delivery systems under the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM). The CoCM model is a way of providing mental health services in a primary care setting to target common, mild/moderate complexity, mild/moderate severity problems. Collaborative Care (CC) will be implemented in many of the school's Integrated Practice Units (IPUs) to strategically address the mental health needs of chronically ill patients.
