Roles and Permissions
Role | Permission to… |

CPD_USER | Use a UTBackup client. |
CPP_USER PROe User | Login to the UTBackup web console client. (default for standard user, required for all accounts) |
Desktop User | Log into the admin console and use Web Restore. |
CPW_USER | This is a legacy role that has no applicability in the UTBackup environment. |
MANAGER | View (read-only) your org and your child orgs. |
ADMIN | View/edit anything in your assigned org and all of your assigned org's child orgs, including assigning roles to others. |
ADMIN_RESTORE | Combined with the ADMIN or MANAGER role, allows you to restore files for another user from the admin console. UTbackup client desktop, select and restore personal files from the UTBackup client or web console. (default for standard user, required for all accounts) |
Org Admin | Fully manage users, devices, backup archives, organization structures and settings within a UTBackup org structure. (required only for Department Admins) |
