Accessing the share folder through File Explorer (see further down for auto-mapping at login)
- Open Windows File Explorer by clicking on the folder icon on the taskbar or right-click the Windows Start icon and select "File Explorer".
In the address bar at the top of the window type in \\engr-scan.austin.utexas.edu\Scanners\ME-Scan and press Enter. Find the folder you scanned to and double-click to open. Copy/move your file to your desired local or cloud destination.
Mapping the scan folder to a persistent drive
Open Windows File Explorer by clicking on the folder icon on the taskbar or right-click the Windows Start icon and select "File Explorer".
In the File Explorer window select "This PC" on the left-hand side and then click the Computer tab and select Map Network Drive.
