in back of the rolling rack filled with the tapedecks.

Patch the deck you want to use into the

TBC input.

Teranex 

In our example we are capturing from

VHS

VHS002 so we have the VHS deck patched into

the TBC Input

the Teranex Composite Y In

If you wanted to capture from Hi-8 or

Beta

3/4 inch just move the

BNC

patch from the VHS to the Hi-8 or

Beta or

3/4 Out.

You are also going to have to move the audio XLR Left and Right to the correct output for the

deck you want to use

This will be patched into the small audio board on the desk and this will send audio into

the Teranex

Make sure the Thunderbolt cable is connected to the computer (IMac) and the Teranex

Click on PLAY make sure there is some image on the tape and play for a at least 20 seconds

Find the 3/4, VHS or Hi8 on the Audio mixer


Raise the level up on the slider to abou 1/4 to 1/2 way up (-10 to 0 range)
