Register for New Employee Welcome and Orientation (NEWO)
- The orientation provides an introduction to UT's culture, community, values, and history. Additionally, formal presentations cover employee benefits such as insurance, retirement and leave programs. To register,
- Go to UTLearn
- Click “Login to UTLearn” (upper left)
- Login using your UT EID and password
- In the search bar (top right corner) enter “NEWO”
- Select “PN 1000 - New Employee Welcome and Orientation (NEWO) Live” and choose next available date.
- Alternatively, you may launch the online version of the orientation by selecting "PN 1000 - New Employee Welcome and Orientation (NEWO)"
College of Natural Sciences New Faculty Orientation
- Individuals who join the faculty in August or January will be invited to the CNS orientation for new faculty in August.

Get a UT ID Card
- The ID card is used for building access, metro transit, Rec Sport membership, etc. Read more here.

Request Key(s) for NHB, NMS, PAT, or MBB
- Read Key Issuance Policy
- Complete and submit departmental key request form
- The department will initiate a university key request form via DocuSign; you'll receive an email from DocuSign to sign the form electronically.
- When your key is ready (within 2-3 business days), you will receive an email from Lock & Key Services. You can then pick up your key at the customer service counter at the Lock & Key Services temporary trailer.
- Present one of the following forms of photo identification at pick-up: UT ID card, driver license, passport.
