All eligible voting members of a promotion review committee are expected to vote on each case under consideration by the BC/EC or CAC.
However, review committee members may not vote if they did not attend (remotely or in person) the meeting in which the committee reviewed and discussed the candidate’s dossier.
Proxy voting is not permitted.
Review committee members must not vote until after the candidate’s dossier has been reviewed and discussed. Repeated voting to achieve unanimity within the BC/EC or CAC is prohibited.
The department and/or college/school must allow eligible voting members to participate in a synchronous, remote manner with approved professional commitments and/or personal circumstances to participate synchronously and remotely in the review of candidates. Proxy voting is not permitted.
