Store Purchase (from website)
The English and the Spanish versions of the NIH Toolbox require separate subscriptions. You may purchase either NIH Toolbox English, NIH Toolbox Spanish, or both apps if needed.
The NIH Toolbox® app is available through the app store and can be downloaded for free. However, to use the instruments, you will be asked to purchase a 12-month auto-renewing subscription, for $499.99 + tax (USD). This subscription may be used on an approved iPad on which you install the NIH Toolbox app, as long as you enter the same Apple ID used for purchase. After your account has been charged the subscription fee, there is no cancelation. You may, however, be eligible for a refund and would need to contact Apple.
The 12-month subscription fee will be automatically renewed to your iTunes account unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription.
After expiration, you will still have access to your data on the iPad, but you will no longer be able to collect new data.
The subscription includes support for installation on up to 10 iPads.
NOTE: Prior to subscribing, you may explore the app while in Trial Mode. Trial Mode allows free non-binding access to the instruments, batteries and running assessments. This will give you the opportunity to get comfortable with and dive into what the NIH Toolbox app has to offer and how it functions. While using the app in the Trial Mode no data will be saved and you will not have access to the reports or data exports. To begin collecting data you must subscribe to the app. There is no time limit or number uses for Trial Mode!
