🔋 Power Systems:
Updates
Power board schematic finished! good for review
Watts and Changxu almost done with an eFuse testboard schematic.
Shaun got polling test done for I2C BSP. Now working on interrupt based test.
Devin and Dylan finished contactor driver!!!!! Also finished high level block diagram of batt characterization board.
Jacob and Tony went through a bunch of edge cases with the Active Precharge board. Did a bunch of considerations into potential current pathways, floating nodes, etc.
Ravi still working on environmental board layout after several changes. Changes include creating a breakout board for humidity, temp, and airflow sensor. Currently trying to find a connector with a smaller form factor as per emech’s request.
Bosa and Kaden found a power monitoring chip for power monitoring board.
Week Plan
order contactor driver and (potentially) eFuse testboard
order mouser components
get power board reviewed and start layout
Upcoming Deadlines
- - Deadline
🔌 Electromechanical:
Updates
starting battery manufacturing
Layups can start as soon as the foam core arrives
CF and kevelar here already
Making test module(s) and doing testing
Week Plan
order hardware and aluminum
assemble universal enclosure and do water test workday
create manufacturing plan for how and when parts are being made
outsourced, waterjet, 3d print
assembly plan
get all waterjet files ready to manufacture
enumerate all hardware needed and order
Keep doing validation/load calcs of brackets, bus bars, etc to catch any underspeced parts
get cooling intakes and exhausts done - first design review
start doing cfd and getting temperature gradients on segments
if we go to pickle - spot welding with sigma clad
