Family-Friendly Policies: Please consult the University's page for information about childcare, hiring dual career couples, extension of the tenure-track probationary period, Family and Medical Leave, modified instructional duties (MID), sick leave, the Employee Assistance Program, the Employee Discount Program, off-campus housing, and many other family-friendly initiatives.

University Policies: The Provost's Policy Forms page contains a comprehensive list of university policies by topic, as well as links to relevant forms. The best resource for all policy related questions or concerns, including handling scholastic dishonesty, scheduling final exams, searching a student's personal papers or belongings, sexual harassment, and observance of religious holy days.

Syllabi and CV: Uploading Syllabi and CVs (House Bill 2504) - The State of Texas requires that all faculty upload their CV and syllabi each semester before the 12th class day. They must comply with these specific State guidelines. Please submit syllabi and CV to Tan Thai

 

Campus health & Safety Resources

The University of Texas at Austin Office of Campus Safety provides Emergency Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and Fire Prevention Services, along with other public safety services to create a safe and secure environment for university students, staff, faculty, and visitors.

Behavior Concerns Advice Line (512-232-5050): The Behavior Concerns and COVID-19 Advice Line is available to address questions or concerns about the behavior of someone in our university community

Campus text alerts: Stay informed during an emergency event — sign up for Campus Text Alerts.

SURE Walk: a student-run volunteer group that provides walks to and from campus to UT students, faculty and staff, with the help of student volunteers.

UT Night Rides: As of Spring 2019, Lyft serves as the provider for UT Austin’s Night Rides program! UT Night Rides provides Lyfts away from main campus to your home* 7 days a week from 11 p.m. - 4 a.m.  

Title IX Support Resources: The Title IX Support and Resources case managers work with all parties (students, faculty, and staff) involved in a matter reported to the Title IX Office to provide accommodations, support, and resources in a variety of ways.
