Content can be added to the DAMS in a variety of ways
One object at a time, adding descriptive metadata via online form _Single object ingest
- Many objects and/or metadata files at a time, via a variety of Batch ingest types
- Many objects with additional, non-standard datastreams, via _Tiered ingest
When ingesting metadata only, and planning to add objects later, placeholder object files are to be used. Download the appropriate placeholder to use with Single object ingest. When employing Batch ingest or Tiered ingest, placeholder files are automatically included in processing.
